Sam, a young writer, has a crush on Birdie, the pretty waitress who works at his favorite coffee shop. After his traditional attempts at approaching her fail, he tries online. Based on Birdie's Facebook profile, he transforms his personality to become the ideal man for her: he takes dance lessons, climbs walls, and pursues an endless number of strange and absurd hobbies. When the clownish plan surprisingly works and Birdie falls completely for Sam's up-tuned alter ego, the man must keep up appearances if he doesn't want to lose the woman of his dreams forever.
